iMac with Retina display reportedly in ‘late’ testing at Apple, may launch soon

Apple’s OS X Yosemite was clearly designed with high-resolution Retina displays in mind. Everywhere you look, Apple’s upcoming operating system is cleaner, brighter, sharper, and just nicer to look at. But right now, only Apple’s laptops would be able to showcase that software to its full potential. Thankfully it sounds like that’s about to change. 9to5Mac reports that a new iMac with Retina display is in “late” testing in Cupertino, and Apple may be nearly ready to show its latest desktop to the world. The iMac would reportedly feature an incredibly sharp “5K” display, though its exact resolution isn’t clear.
